Seville,
the largest town in southern Spain, is the city of Carmen, Don Juan, and Figaro.
One of the most beloved places by visitors to Spain, Seville has a fascinating
history, important monuments, and a repuation for being a vibrant, joyful town.
Seville is the heart of Andalusian culture and a center for bullfighting and Flamenco
music. Nearby is Carmona, a town with 5,000 years of history. Winding, cobblestone
streets lead uphill to white-washed palaces. Casa Amaryllis is located
in a suburban community just 15 km from Seville. The villageof Mareina is a traditional
Andalusian village with many interesting restaurants and tapas bars to sample.
Alcala offers a full range of services, with a supermarket, post office, and many
shops and restaurants. Golf and horseback riding are available nearby. Wineries
can be found in Jerez (90 km) as well as dancing Andalucian horses; and the sun-kissed
beaches of the Huelva are within daytrip distance. Sierra de Aracena and Picos
de Aroche Nature Reserve are national parks boasting rare species that are now
protected.
This colorful villa is built on two floors. On the ground
floor is a comfortably furnished living room with a fireplace and French doors
that open onto a lovely garden. The dining area has a table that seats eight.
The eat-in kitchen is bright and cheerful, outfitted with a dishwasher and a microwave.
A laundry room with a washing machine is located just off of the kitchen. There
is one bedroom with twin beds on this level, as well as a full bath.
The
remaining three bedrooms are located upstairs, on the second floor. The master
bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own en suite bath. Two additional bedrooms
with twin beds share a bathroom down the hall.
The living room and
three of the bedrooms at Casa Amaryllis are air-conditioned. Other amenities include
window screens, satellite TV, stereo system, and DVD player. The backyard pool
has a wonderful terrace to enjoy meals and just relax.
