Villa Segale is an 12th century stone farmhouse with a spectacular panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside. From the property, you can see Lucca, Pisa and the coast. This 96 acre estate of vineyards, olive groves and woodland is located on a hill outside of Lucca, near the tiny village of San Macario al Monte. The setting is peaceful and private.
The farmhouse was recently and lovingly renovated to a very high standard, with cotto floors, chestnut beamed ceilings, and just the right blend of antique furnishings and modern amenities. The style is minimalist with a lovely and quite elegant and authentic feel.

The swimming pool (46 x 23 feet), with a gazebo and lounge chair, has a stunning view of the countryside and night lights for breathtakingly beautiful late night swimming. There are two outdoor patios to provide the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. One is in the front of the house, connected to the sitting room and formal dining room; it is covered with a pergola of century-old grape vines and lined with lemon trees. The other is on the east side of the house, with direct access from the kitchen, and is also covered with a pergola and newly planted grapevines. Ideal for dining al fresco, this patio has a large stone table that seats 10 as well as a BBQ and marble stone basin.
There is covered parking for two cars, and ample parking for additional cars. Guests may purchase the well-known wine produced on the estate, as well as their own olive oil, produced from the local groves.
