From chic city apartments and elegant villas with staff to simple, lovely stone farmhouses, the Doorways staff painstakingly selects its properties with an eye to comfort, décor, and setting. Please let us know, when you first contact us, whether you are seeking a "self-catering" residence or a luxury villa with live-in staff.

Our villas and apartments vary in size and style, but all are spotlessly clean and come equipped with linens, towels, and cooking utensils. Fresh linens are supplied weekly, unless the villa comes with maid service. Most properties are rented from Saturday to Saturday, with a one-week minimum. Cooks can be arranged in advance in many villas, and our staff can recommend special programs on request, such as cooking classes, painting classes, golf, and bicycle tours.

To ensure the best selection of properties, we recommend booking well in advance. Please be aware that to rent a large villa with a pool-- especially during high season--it is often necessary to book a year or more in advance!
