Due Trulli in Puglia:

Immersed in peace and tranquility and furnished with immaculate care and attention to detail, Due Trulli is one of the most sought after holiday homes in Puglia. Located less than two miles from the hilltop town of Cisternino, this beautiful villa features gardens and a magnificent swimming pool carved out of bedrock.

The house is made up of two "trulli" houses (the local cone-shaped architecture that is unique to Puglia) that have been beautifully renovated using ancient stone masonry techniques. Inside, the ambience is simple, with tasteful furnishings that preserve a traditional, rustic feel.

From spring to autumn, guests are likely to spend much of their time outdoors, enjoying the gardens and many lovely relaxation areas. Elegant gazebos built in local stone provide wonderful open-air living spaces.

One of the most remarkable features of Due Trulli is the magnificent swimming pool, built out of bedrock and featuring a stone bathing area, where you can even see ancient fossils. There is a table to sit at in the water, a charming waterfall and an area for proper swimming. All around the pool are unusual sun loungers carved from local wood with attractive cushions.
