This imposing Belle Époque style villa is located in the heart of Villefranche town. This large and stately home has a garden, a large heated swimming pool, a wonderful roof terrace and views across the village to the sea. The villa has just been renovated and is brand new in May, 2008.

Villa Léopold is an exceptional property, in the best possible location. It is set in a quiet area of the village, within walking distance of everything – all of the shops, bakery and small supermarket are a 1-minute walk. The port and train station are a 5-minute walk, and the beach is 5 minutes further. It is very unusual to find a large villa with a pool and garden in the center of a village. There is very little noise in this location.

The house is of a very unusual diamond shape and has over forty windows. Built as the King of Belgium’s residence at the turn of the 20th century, the villa has all the architectural features of the Belle Époque style. The centerpiece of the house is a grand staircase, and there are beautiful old tile fireplaces throughout.

The rear of the house faces south and is sunny. It overlooks the town and the square below. The swimming pool is exceptionally large and can be heated.

Villa Léopold will be of the highest quality. Furniture, curtains, linens, etc. will be of the highest standard.
