Cari Proprietari,
Spero che la stagione estiva sia partita nel migliore dei modi. Voglio innanzitutto ringraziarvi per la vostra collaborazione durnate questo anno particolarmente difficile.
Spero che la crisi economica globale si risolva per l’anno 2010. Abbiamo cominciato gia’ a ricevere richieste di affitti per il 2010, e spero di avere tutti gli aggiornamenti al piu’ presto.
Per questo vi chiediamo di inviarci i prezzi 2010 il piu’ presto possibile. Vi consigliamo di mantenere i prezzi 2009, o di considerare l'ipotesi di abbassarli. I clienti statunitensi in questo periodo sono alla ricerca di proprieta’ piu’ piccole e meno costose e, nel caso siano interessati a ville piu’ grandi, sono alla ricerca dei prezzi piu’ convenienti. Le ville che affitteremo con maggiore successo nel 2010 saranno quelle che offrono prezzi piu’ competitivi. Vi consigliamo pertanto di ridurre il costo degli affitti con l'obiettivo di aumentare il numero di locazione.
Inoltre, ho deciso di non aumentare la nostra commissione per l’anno 2010 per il secondo anno consecutivo. Abbiamo riscontrato anche un gran sucesso grazie agli sconti che abbiamo e avete offerto.
Se non avete ancora pronti i prezzi per il 2010 possiamo offrirvi lo stesso programma che abbiamo offerto l’anno scorso:
Tra la data del 2 luglio e la data in cui riceveremo i vostri prezzi, offriremo ai clienti la possibilita’ di prenotare subito, pagare il deposito alla conferma, il saldo entro il 15 dicembre, e usare i prezzi del 2009 per prenotazioni nel 2010. Questo vi dara’ piu’ tempo per preparare i prezzi 2010, inoltre avrete il saldo degli affitti entro la fine dell’anno corrente.
Vi chiedo pertanto di mandare un’email a Doorways se vorrete aderire a questo programma. In caso decidiate di non volervi aderire, vi chiedo di mandare i nuovi prezzi al piu’ presto, cosi’ possiamo aggiornare il database.

I hope your summer season is off to a very good start and I thank you for your collaboration during this very challenging year. I hope the global economy will be better for 2010. We have already started receiving requests, so we hope to have prices ready earlier this year.
This is why I am asking you to send Doorways your 2010 prices as soon as possible. In the meanwhile I suggest that you hold to the 2009 rates or consider decreasing your prices. American customers are now booking smaller, less expensive places and are looking for good values even for the larger villas. I believe that well-priced villas are what will sell in 2010 and anyone who is priced slightly under market will be able to make up in volume what they lack in price.
Also, for the second consecutive year, I have decided not to increase our markup for 2010. We have also been successful in giving on the spot discounts from our profit margin to close sales quickly.
If you don’t have your 2010 prices yet, we can offer the same program as we did last year:
Between now (July 2) and whenever you give us your new 2010 prices, we will offer customers the possibility to book now, pay the deposit now and the balance by December 31, 2009 and receive 2009 prices for 2010 bookings. This should encourage customers to book quickly before the prices go up. For you it will give cash in advance (full payment in 2009 for 2010 bookings) and some time to consider your 2010 rates.
Please let me know if you will participate in this program by sending an e-mail agreeing to the program or by sending us your 2010 rates as soon as possible.
